While I do torque down the barrel nut, I do not thread lock or tighten the rail screws. I had 1 customer tell me the rail interfered with two lowers he tried. A Doublestar and a PSA lower. I sent him a prepaid label to ship it back to me. I dropped the upper on 3 different lowers, CMMG Glock lower, post sample M16 lower that was an 80% Tactical Machining lower and my MGI Hydra Lower. It dropped on all 3 lowers perfectly. I then paid for shipping a third time back to him. So now, I keep the screws loose so you can adjust to your lower accordingly.
Rugged just released their spin on the ‘Bixler’ 3 lug mount but their mount goes deeper inside the can. This setup will NOT work for the Rugged ‘Bixler’ 3 lug mount.
