This price includes (1) EZ-Lok adapter as well as the work involved to shorten our barrel (re-crown), add red Loctite and torque down. Please specify if you do NOT want the red Loctite applied.

As many of you know my preferred PCC / SMG mounting option is 3 lug but only with the OG ‘Bixler’ mount which is the original 3 lug mount which uses no springs to fail and mounts up rock solid. You can read more about it here: https://c3junkie.com/?page_id=553 As of today (February 2026), Shaw Armament https://www.shawarms.com/pages/sas_suppressors is the only active manufacturer of this design but ironically not listed on their site at the time of this writing. https://hansohnbrothers.com/shop/?_sft_product_brand=hansohn-brothers also had some made as well but are not currently available either.

Both of these vendors offered the Bixler 3 lug mount in both Hub and Alpha thread patterns.

January of 2026, Rugged released a spin on the original Bixler design with a new 3 lug mount which looks very good but it is only available in ‘Hub’ thread pattern.

I have seen many posts on the Rugged Obsidian having baffle and endcap strikes with the spring loaded mounts. Since there is currently no Alpha ‘Bixler’ style mounts on the market today, I decided to offer the EZ-Lok adapter as well as having the barrels good to go for use with the EZ-Lok mount.
